recently, when selecting sky, as a deselect method, gets one of scatters selected, if you’re unlucky, the heaviest scatter gets selected. :)) and that’s very cruel and hard. Is this a bug? or is it intentional.
I can’t seem to replicate this issue on my end. Can you provide us with screenshots or steps on how it persisted on your end? Thank you.
oddly, when I tried to capture it in video, it didn’t work :)) now I opened another scene, and it work! let me show you the video:
I have run into this exact same issue before on several projects. Scatter somehow gets assigned to the sky and when you click in the sky later down the road at some point D5 selects the scatter that is assigned to the sky. Very weird. I’ve generally resorted to deleting that particular scatter and then apply to the appropriate ground area that it’s supposed to be attached to.

Really grateful for this in-depth explanation of this issue but unfortunately, I can’t seem to replicate the issue with different D5 Scene File.
