Section Plane for a specific geom or group of geom

Hi,

I have recently started using Section Plane tool in D5. Its really great tool mainly to show & generate floor plan view. All the attributes seems to be working fine, except (a) fill (b) visibility in layer.

(a) For Fill option we need to refresh it to be visible in the viewport.
(b) for Visibility in Layers, it doesn’t seems to be working. I have 2 separate layers in my file - Geom & Lights. But when i select the “Current” option in the option, its not working. So i am bit confused as how it works.

Also, would love to see an option to use Section Plane for specific geom or group of geom, which can help further customization. Example - while creating a floor plan render, i can have section plane affecting only walls & ceiling (not any other elements). This will give freedom to select & set more favorable camera angles.

Have you tried with the section cube, which is easier to use, which allows you to exclude certain layers from the display. You can assign a layer for the assts that you no longer want to see
