Scenes are not being saved?

Hey there, recently after updating I see issues in 2 areas as of now that is most used by me

Firstly, the scenes are not being saved with different exposure settings, and it doesn’t retain it and changes it automatically

Secondly, the issue of exposure, some changes has been made to the exposure setting in the individual scenes’ tabs, which gives inconsistent results.

I assume to be a bug but looking for suitable solutions if isn’t one.

Hi @onlythat8338

I apologize for the inconvenience, but I can’t seem to replicate the issue on my end.

  • Does this occur to all of your files too?
  • Did you update the scene after modifying the exposure settings?
  • And was it set to "Apply to All’ or “Saved Separately”

We would really appreciate it if you can include a recorded video of the whole process so we’ll be able to know the full context and process. Thank you.

Hello @Clov !

Yes, it is occurring to all my files

Yes, I update the scenes after making changes

It is set to saved separately

Edit: Here’s the recorded Clip

Hi @onlythat8338

Can you send us your D5 File and Log file? Please send it to support@d5techs.com and have it titled '2.11 Clov-Forum Scenes are not being saved", please be guided on the following images:

Let me know if you have sent it.

I’ve sent them @Clov , Please look into them

Hi @onlythat8338

I just tried it on my end, and I am able to save these scenes normally.

  • Video Recording - Unique Download Link | WeTransfer
  • Have you received any notification to update 2.11.0.0603 to 2.11.0.0605? Please update it and try again if the issue persists.

Thank you.

I tried re installing the D5 still facing the issue and it is stuck at 2.11.0.0603 , I just checked

Can you provide a solution to update it manually?

Hi @onlythat8338

Sorry, I might have caused some misunderstanding. 2.11.0.0605 is a build in Teams Version.

Anyway, may I also ask if this file was located in a Network folder or Cloud storage? If so, I recommend placing it purely in your local address then try again.

Yes, that is true the Sketchup file is located in the cloud storage, but this issue occurred after this update.

Hi @onlythat8338

Alright, how about for your D5 File? Does moving the D5 File and SKP file to a local file path solve this issue that you’re currently experiencing? Please let me know.

Actually, I haven’t tried that yet
The D5 files are saved in my local Pc and the Sketchup files are saved on server and connected through them generally
Some of the files are though saved on local too.

Btw, I’ve not seen these issues in recent work as of now
I’ll let you know if anything else comes up to my observations

Hi @onlythat8338

Alright, please do try it if you experience it again, since we weren’t able to replicate this issue on our end.

It is happening in several file, I think the issue is in my own device so I’m planning to get it checked on my end.

Hi @onlythat8338

May I know which build of D5 you’re currently using? I highly suggest using 2.11.1.0620

If issue still persists, please resend to us the following:

You may send it to support@d5techs.com and have it titled Clov-Forum Sceneres are not being saved
