D5 Render Version: 2.10
Graphics Card: Nvidea RTX 5070
Driver Version: 576.02
Issue Description: have been working on a project and decided to upgrade the gpu to rtx 5070 from rtx 3060. but when the same file is opened, scenes appear darker with some areas pitch black. when flying through the model , the model glitches and textures are broken.
Screenshots/Videos Description:

^ this is how its supposed to be, and this i while using rtx 3060 card

but this is how the same scene is now using 5070 card. does d5 not support the nvidea 50 series gpus or is this a major bug? pls give a solution asap.

Steps to Reproduce (optional):

576.02 drivers break round corners on Rtx50 series. Roll back to previous drivers.

Hi @Ameez

These two images were opened in the same version of D5 Render, right? The new 2.10 update also made some D5 Files relatively darker compared to the previous version if Auto Exposure was enabled.

We certainly do support the 5000 Series. Please also confirm the following:

  • Did you enable DLSS 4? Please try to disable it and see if the model glitches are resolved. This is currently a known issue, and we are actively repairing it.

  • The 576.02 Drivers were just recently released last Apr. 16, 2025 so it may be susceptible to bugs. You may want to try @infer66’s suggestion in rolling back to the previous version and see if it resolves this issue.

  • Does the difference also occur in the final rendering aside from the Preview window?

Note: Please confirm each questions above so we can immediately investigate this issue.

Hi Clov,

Thanks for the reply,

Yes both models/images are from D5 2.10.
Yes DLSS 4 was enabled by default.
Yes i do have the latest drivers installed.
correct. the same preview result is seen in the final render also in multiple resolutions also. there’s Black lines and some textures appear very grainy.

Let me try the suggested

Hi @Ameez

Does your 3060 Device have the same Driver Version as your RTX 5070 Device?

Yes its the same device with the same version of the driver and D5 version (2.10). I just switched the gpu to the 5070 and started facing these problems.
Anyways, I have tried the suggestions,

1- I did a clean install of the Nvidea Driver version back to an older version (572.83 - Studio Driver- March 18,2025). and the issue with black lines and grainy black textures breaking have been resolved. but when moving through the scene there still is warping and scene breaking, which did not happen in when I was using the RTX 3060 card.

2- I Can’t find a way to directly turn off DLSS 4 in D5 2.10,I m assuming its default in 50 series gpus. but the issue with scene warping and breaking during flying through or moving through the scene is significantly reduced when frame generation is set to “close”. In some project files “Auto” also works without glitching, but in project of all sizes, “x2” glitches and scene breaks during moving or flying through model space.

Reverting back to the older studio driver fixed the main issue i had and the model is workable. However, I hope D5 is fully optimized to the 50 series features and also that Nvideas drivers with bugs are resolved soon.

Hi @Ameez

Thank you so much for confirming and answering our questions.

  • You may turn off DLSS 4 in D5 by disabling the Frame Generation option or just set to “Close”
  • Currently, there is a known issue with this feature, which is evident in RTX 4000 Series and 5000 Series, and we are fixing this issue as soon as possible.

I am dealing with this issue right now. Went from 4090 to 5090. I’m going to try older drivers and see if it fixes this!

Hi @chris15

There’s also a recent new update from NVIDIA, you are welcome to try the newest one or simply revert back to 572.47.

Please let us know of your results. Thank you.

@Clov Nvidea 576.40 May 12 update for game ready driver and also 576.02 April 16 Studio driver update shows the same result. The issues presented here have NOT been solved in either driver updates. Theres glitching, Black lines on some textures etc still happening.

Still running on 572.83 driver version which seems to be the stable version.

Hi @Ameez

Thanks for updating us. We appreciate it.

I have a similar issue after I upgraded from my 3070ti to a 5070. Reverting to the studio driver improves the dark areas, leaving some streaks of dark lines at the edges. Round corner doesn’t work at all. It’s either off or creating the issue with dark areas.

We’ve tested three versions ofthe NVIDIA Graphics Card, which still have this problem:

  • Version 576.02
  • Version 576.28
  • Version 576.40

We suggest reverting back to drivers that are before 576.02, such as 572.47 or 572.83
