From what I understand so far about the tool, you can group the elements of your scene that you want to animate within SketchUp, for example, and then export the model to a d5a file, maintaining the structure of these groups, and after importing the d5a file, choose which groups will be animated and which template. don’t forget to sync coordinates to position the d5a file in the correct location
Is there any way to keep the same material on all objects after export?
D5 recognizes each object as a unique material, so I have to paint them one by one.
As far as I know, there isn’t. You’ll either have to repaint each group individually in SketchUp, or apply the material within D5render. If you’re thinking of creating a model with the same color, like white, there’s the native Clay mode, press Alt + 3 to apply it.
