I have this scatter area selected, however how do I ensure that it goes to the edges? At the moment, the square density is so big that it leaves these weird triangles near the edges empty?
Any help would be great, new user here!

Try to disable “Simple Mode”, there should be parameters that would help you adjust these divisions. Scatter Quality can also be adjusted to ensure that the whole area has scatter. You’re welcome to modify any of these settings.
