Hey everyone,
I am using SketchUp with D5 render, creating animations and working with big files that take up more than 50GB of RAM memory. While I understand that the 4080 is faster judging by benchmarks and the D5 submitted results, I’m curious would the 8 GB more Vram that 3090 has impact the rendering times more significantly that the “speed” from the 4080? I assume that the Graphics cars has to do a lot less “communicating” with the RAM memory when it has more Vram. On the topic of RAM, does MHz play difference while working with big files ?

Generally we recommend that the MHz is not too high, it has impact but not absoulty.
