Rhino 8 LiveSync Version Error

I am currently using Rhino 8 and have installed the latest D5 Render 3.0.0 and LiveSync Plugin 1.1.3.0016. Even though everything is up to date, I keep getting an error message saying, ‘The current version of D5 Render does not support current version of Rhino Sync Plugin, please upgrade to version 2.7 and above.’

Both Rhino and D5 Render work perfectly fine individually, but the LiveSync connection fails with this version error. I have already tried reinstalling the plugin, but the issue persists. Could you please check if there is a conflict between Rhino 8 and the latest plugin? The link below is for a case where someone experienced the exact same problem as me.

Sorry for the inconvenience caused. Please try updating to D5 Render 3.0.1 and opening D5 Render before using the Rhino plugin to synchronize, to see if it works.

Thank you for your reply. As you suggested, I updated d5 render to version 3.0.1 and tried running d5 render before syncing with the plugin, but I’m still getting an error.

Thank you for updating to version 3.0.1 and trying to run D5 Render. Since the error persists, we’ll need to take a closer look at your log files.

Could you please collect your D5 Render log files and send them to support@d5techs.com? Kindly tag me in the email and include a link to this forum post for reference. We appreciate your patience and cooperation.

Currently experiencing the same error running 3.0.1 and Rhino 8.29. It also seems that there is no way to change the destination folder of the logs, preventing a workstation with less-than admin access from collecting them.

Eagerly awaiting a solution to this problem so we can see if D5 can reliably fit into our workflow.

Does the same error prompt appear? Can you try running both D5 and Rhino together, then activating the Livesync?

Yes, “current version of D5 Render does not support current version of Rhino Sync Plugin”, it’s the sync plugin that i downloaded directly from the launcher, running rhino 8.2 and D5 3.0.1

I opened rhino and D5, saved the rhino file with a name, and tried running sync. I have reinstalled everything with the same results.
