i have made a revit model that has a toposolid with a highslope so I needed to make subdivisions for roads when I import my model to d5 and try to put grass on the toposolid the it goes through the road and appear on top of it what could be the solution for this problem
as you can see in the images the grass goes through everything that isn’t cutting the toposolid and because the subdivision cant cut the toposolid I couldn’t find a solution for it what could be a workaround for it
Hi @daghestaniosama, we apologize for the inconvenience. A more efficient way to apply these materials in D5 would be to separate the surfaces in Revit. You can achieve this by splitting the toposolid to create the roads. Have you tried using the “Cut Geometry” option to carve out the roads from the toposolid?
Hello,
because a subdivision sits on top of a toposolid and it cant start from a level belaw the surface of the toposolid you cant possibly cut it I tried creating a void form under the road it didn’t work too
Hi there,
Can you provide a sample image as to what you want to achieve? Looking forward to your reply, thank you.
