I have been trying to export a Revit Model into D5 Render using the Sync Model and the Export options, but in the 2 cases, several different materials from Revit, behave as 1 single material inside of D5 Render. In other words, the material that I apply to the exterior walls, it is also applied to the road and frames of the windows. Inside Revit, before the export, they are not only different Families, but also with totally different materials. I don´t understand why, once I have the model inside of D5 Render, all those different materials seems to be only 1 material
I have been trying to find a solution but I just ran out of ideas
If you guys can find a fix for this, I would really appreciate it
If the first method doesn’t work, try the beta version of the D5 converter I sent you in the private chat, which fixes some problems regarding material differentiation.
If the above didn’t work, please send us a Revit sample so we can test and solve this problem asap. My email is li.huang@d5techs.com
Hello I’m having same issue: curtain wall structure, colums and the topographic floor are having same material after exporting to D5 Render. Could you please share me the beta version of the convertor? Thank you.
Hi there, the beta version that Lia was talking about has already been officially released. Are you using the latest version, which is 0.4.7.0001? Please try to activate “Consistent Colors” in Revit using the D5 Sync:
