Revit bim component

There are times when I need to download specific Revit BIM families/components from the web to use and modify them. My question is: Is there a way to make the materials, or let’s say, the color of the Revit BIM family/component reflect in D5? I’ve tried doing this, but the BIM component only appears in white. Applying D5 materials to these BIM families/components is time-consuming. If there’s no solution, I hope the D5 team will consider this feature. I’ve tried other rendering software, and the materials of BIM families/components were reflected correctly not just only white.

Hi, when you download the objects from the web BIM revit and you put them as furniture in your project with their mappings, have you tried to explode them so that they become a shape with faces with their mappings, perhaps in this way, when Syn with D5 sees them with the path embedded in the Revit files.
Then instead, when you download them, and take them individually and see them in Revit 3D you save it in SKP or FBX, so you can load them into D5 and position them in your project. You can also save them in the local library, because when you need them, you can place them wherever you want.
Try it this way is not difficult :slightly_smiling_face:
