another problem guys… my renders are not saving the video output when using render queue… a 8 second take is rendering but generates a small file… it should be around 170 mb
this message is displayed when i try to play the video
This file cannot be played. This may be because the file type is not supported, the file extension is incorrect, or the file is corrupted.0xc00d36c4
Sorry for the inconvenience caused. Can you please try to render the video directly without using the Render Queue and let me know if the problem still happens? If this works, the issue may be isolated to the queue system.
Also, what Export format are you using? And please confirm that your save path is a local folder and not a cloud or network drive since this may cause incomplete or corrupted results. Thank you
when rendered directly it works… the problem is that a i have around 35 - 50 takes to render, so i have to sit here and send each onde individually now.
format
the save path is on my desktop with plenty of free space
Could you let me know if you were able to use Render Queue normally before? Kindly please try to replicate it on a different sample file? This will help us understand if it’s file-specific or something persistent. What version of D5 are you using?
I tried to replicate the issue on my end using a similar setup, and the Render Queue worked normally for multiple takes.
yes it worked on various projects, i always use render queue, but on this project its happening this, with all the problems i told on another posts ( my recent files not showing anyore so i cant open a previous file, my file crashing after opening, people distributed with custom paths not uodating and showing that white square place holder)
my file is ultra heavy, but i worked on similar heavy projects before and none of these happened
Thanks for the details. I noticed from your screenshot that your VRAM usage is at 97%. When VRAM is this high, D5 Render can experience lag, freezing, crashes, or corrupted render outputs, which explains the issues you’re seeing with this particular project.
To resolve this:
Reduce file size by optimizing foliage, lighting, and models.
Lower polygon counts in your modeling software and remove any hidden/unnecessary faces or surfaces.
If you have numerous camera scenes, consider splitting your project (e.g., create duplicate for separate interior and exterior scenes) to make it easier to manage and delete unseen objects.
Monitor GPU memory usage — if it exceeds 90%, similar problems are likely to continue.
You can refer to your VRAM usage screenshot here for guidance:
We are still reviewing your case regarding the launcher startup issue and the inability to open certain files. In the meantime, please try the suggestions provided above so you can continue with your video rendering using the Render Queue.
We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience.
