Rendering Error in online Tour

Hey everyone,

I’ve succesfully used the Tour function several times but my latest project is misbehaving. Upon first load the viewport seems to be stuck inside the automatically generated 3D model. I need to click on 3D first to go to the ‘overview’, then 2D again to actually go to the tour.

This is what it looks like when I first enter the tour :

This is what it’s supposed to look like.

Although can’t recreate it (and don’t have a screenshot), on a particular instance the 3D model would be floating in front of the camera during the regular ‘2D’ view. I unfortunately can’t expect clients to work their way around this, so I’m wondering if there’s something I can do to fix this.

Thanks in advance!

Hi @OnPoint

I apologize for the inconvenience. Can you share to us the Virtual Tour link? Thank you.

Hey Clovis,

Here’s the link:

Thanks for the assistance!

Hi @OnPoint

Thanks for sending the link. Does this issue only occur on this specific file? Which version of D5 Render was this Virtual Tour created?

The project was made in Version 2.10.1.0579. This is the only project this error occurs on, yes. It’s possible that the project was created in an earlier version of D5, there may have been some updates in between. I’ll send the files over!

Thanks.

P.S. What’s the maximum amount of tours I can have on a single account? Do they stay up indefinitely? I couldn’t find the answer in the documentation.

Hi @OnPoint

We have received your file and will begin our troubleshooting process, I will update you as soon as possible.

As for the maximum number of tours:

D5’s cloud services (eg. D5 Studio) all occupy your storage space. Each team is provided with a total of 100GB of shared cloud storage, and detailed usage information can be accessed through the team management backend.

  • There is really no ‘limit’ on the number of Tours you can make as long as the shared cloud storage is sufficient.
