Render Problem

We are fed up with D5. What we see on screen is not getting when we save. brighter than what we see on screen, lost the shadows, over bright.
exr format is another useless. Please make a better programme, you have a good assets library, easy to give lighting, but the output should be the same as what we see.

Hello @binu_alex

Sorry for the unpleasant experience.

  • Please tell me your current D5 version. Is it 2.7.1.0465?
  • Does this problem happen in all scenes or specific ones? Any supporting images/screenshots are appreciated.
  • Did you enable auto-exposure? Or did you turn on D5 SR? If yes, please try to turn it off and render again to see the results.

Hi
The version I am using is the latest, and whatever you have given screenshots are following from the beginning. My issue is that I am not getting sharp pictures, Earlier I was using V-ray, and D5 is better in interior scenes than V-ray but lacks sharp pictures in Exterior.
While doing lighting, the screen shows a sharp picture, but after rendering that sharpness is loose. I am attaching an axonometric rendered picture of what I have been doing in D5. overall it’s okay, but it’s losing sharpness. I could not find any tool for that. Another issue is PNG or EXR will not give a transparent picture. in my render, you can see grey colour through windows, no option to avoid that.

Hi

Thanks for the updates.

  • Please check if you enabled D5 SR. D5 SR will significantly improve the rendering speed of images but lose some image details. If it’s on, try to turn it off.

  • Yes, the complete transparent background is not supported for now. Currently, to obtain a rendering with a transparent background, you can combine the output image with channel maps and import them into other software (such as Photoshop) for further processing.
