Recomended Specs for 1.2Billion Face File

Hey Everyone,

Im looking to update my PC to be able to run D5 A little more smooth. Now that I have some data on my files I was just wondering what some people would recommend to get smoother rates. I know this is a tough question but just trying to not build a crazy expensive super computer if this makes sense.

Job 1 Stats:
GPU: 31.76%
VRAM: 94.7%
RAM: 77.12%
FPS: 2.94
Faces: 1,210,215,626

Job 2 Stats:
GPU: 31.85%
VRAM: 94.99%
RAM: 77.04%
FPS: 12.44
Faces: 203,807,859

My Current PC Specs:
CPU: Intel Core i9 11900
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070
Motherboard: HP 889C
RAM: Samsung M378A4G43AB2-CWE DDR4

Job 2 runs basically at a point that I am relatively happy with. But due to jobs heading more in the direction of Job 1 might just need that boost.

Again doesn’t have to run like the best computer on the planet. Maybe something that will be running around the 20-30FPS.

Hello, I am here to assist you. You might want to check out this link https://benchmark.d5render.com/result for a detailed guidance on what specifications perform well with D5 at your desired CPU and GPU. It is a curated collection of user data by the user itself with related specifications, specifically the GPU, CPU, driver, memory, and D5 version. I hope this helps, and thank you!

Well I am not from any official scope of D5 service, and I can’t say to you what you need but from the current specs its quite visible that you need to invest in something more than the RTX3070. The i911900 is quite good and should be fine. the 11900 stands for 11th gen. its just 13th gen in the market right now. So you are good there.

I think u should invest in a card get a card which atleast 12/16/24GB Vram minimum else you wont see a rise in performance… Because 8GBVRAM DDR6 is very underwhelming. You could totally swich out for a new PC yes. But i would suggest testing your current build with a new card and see the responce. After which u could like move to build a NEW pc.

For New PC Sky’s the limit. But i would hold off as 14th gen is round the corner.
My 2 cents.

Thankyou heaps for your response. I shall have a look into some cards then. I appreciate it!
