Random horizon line in relfections

I have seen a few other posts on this, but no answer so far. Using 2.11.

Can anyone help with this error? Getting a horizon line reflection, on an interior rendering, with zero access to the exterior from which it would have been reflected. What is more is that the exact same material shows it in some areas but not others.

Steps tried so far:
-removed material, recreated it from scratch and reapplied.
-double and triple checked model (Rhino file) to ensure it is not sitting somehow below the 0 plane.
-double checked that a clipping plane was not somehow creating the effect (deleted, added, moved, tried as many ways as I could think of). Did this both in Rhino AND D5 natively.
-deleted all lights, and added new ones in the same place. Tried moving the lights around to see if it would affect the effect. Line remains, moving or deleting light changes nothing.
-tried adjusting the specular and roughness parameters for several materials that the effect can be seen on to test whether I could at least make it dissipate or otherwise, but it remains.
-it appears to be a watermark, but in such a random location, and not able to be affected.

any suggestions would be most helpful. And, no, it is not feasible to zip this and send.

thanks!

Hi @mcdermoa

May I know if there are some light assets (perhaps rectangular lights, aside from emissive materials) that are used to illuminate the interior space? If so, try adjusting them slightly below the ceiling or as to where they are currently placed just to prevent them from overlapping with the surface.

no emissive materials, but yes there are strip and rectangular lights.

I adjusted the ones in the ceiling down, and that seems to have done the trick, thanks!

Hi @mcdermoa

Alright, thanks for the update.
