Question regarding the VR virtual tour feature.

I am currently using the Pro version. I have seen a response stating that the VR virtual tour feature is planned to be provided to Pro users. Is there a concrete plan or timeline for this?

Currently, it seems that the VR virtual tour feature is only available in the Team version. If I upgrade to the Team version, create and use a VR virtual tour, and then switch back to the Pro version, will I still be able to use the previously created VR virtual tour?

Hi @architects2 ,

As of now, we can not reveal any specific dates since it is subject to change and may run into some issues which in turn, may cause some delays. Rest assured, this suggestion has already been considered and we are working on it.

As for your other query, you can indeed work on the file itself but I don’t think you can edit or make some changes on the Virtual Tour Link using your PRO Account.

I have an additional question.

It is mentioned that a VR tour created by upgrading to a Team account can be shared and utilized in the following two ways:

  • Share Online
  • Share EXE files

I am currently using the Pro version, but in order to create a VR tour, I need to use the Team version.
Since I only need to create one VR tour, I do not need to maintain the Team version continuously.

Here is the process I would like to follow:

  1. Currently using the Pro version
  2. Upgrade to the Team version (for just one month) and create a VR tour
  3. Utilize the completed VR tour via online sharing or EXE files
  4. Since the Team version is no longer needed, switch back to the Pro version
  5. Confirm whether the previously created VR tour (including the shared link and EXE file) will still function properly after switching back to the Pro version

I would like to know if the VR tour I created will remain functional even after reverting to the Pro version.

Hi there,

This workflow process should work and would still let you access the the generated link or .exe file but after the Teams Version has expired and not continued, you can not edit it anymore since you can not access the D5 Showreel Virtual Tour feature. Thank you.
