I’m trying to create the appearance of wet ground after a rainfall. I know I can add puddles, but I’m not looking for large reflective puddles—more of a subtle damp/wet surface across the ground with the occasional puddle.
In this example image, the whole driveway looks damp but is not overly reflective.
Yes, kind of. However, in my opinion the image you sent over looks like 1 giant puddle rather than just wet ground after rain. The reflectivity is what’s throwing it off for me. Perhaps it would be helpful to have an option in D5 to adjust the reflectivity in the puddles.
Got the puddles a long time ago from Sketchfab. Now it’s on FAB and costs…
Best is various puddles and then the mix with the D5 render waether settings. But yes D5 can only no water (puddles 95-96 %) or you will need a Arche Noah (puddles 97-100 %). Perhaps in the future there is a option like a scatter…
