Program Startup Failed

Screenshot 2025-08-10 120934

I’m using a laptop. When I click the “Connect to D5 Render” button in SketchUp, it loads for a while and then a “PROGRAM STARTUP FAILED” warning pops up.

Thinking it might be a graphics card driver issue, I updated the driver to the latest version. After the update, the “PROGRAM STARTUP FAILED” warning no longer appears, but now D5 Render just stays on the loading screen indefinitely and never actually opens.

My system specs are:

  • Windows 11
  • Intel Core i9-14900HX
  • RAM: 64GB
  • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 Laptop GPU

Hi @spencer.k527

Thanks for the details. This is a known issue on laptops with the Intel i9‑14900 series. It is recommended to:

  • Update your BIOS to the latest version.
  • Disable CPU overclocking, RAM XMP profile, and Intel Turbo Boost, or restore them to default settings.

For the full guide and additional troubleshooting steps, please refer to our user manual: Why prompt 'The program cannot be launched because of DLL errors...' or 'Program Startup Failed'? | User Manual

Please let me know if these steps fix the issue.
