im triying to make a vertical animation, i have the camere setup at 9:16 , everything is ok in rendering mode, but as soon as a i enter animation mode and create a clip i lose the vertical ratio.
Hi there~ You might want to set up the camera using the “Advanced Camera Tool Beta” and set up your desired aspect ratio, which is 9:16. You may want to refer to these images:

yes. I can adjust the camera to the 9:16 ratio and then whenever I try to play the video it switches back to a landscape view and even when I render the video it’s at landscape like the sample posted by the OP above

Follow my instructions:
Step 1: add a camera and set it to 9:16
Step 2: Add Scene list on the left
Step 3: go to Clip and add a new clip. then click on the Scene list above (the Scene you added in Step 2)
Step 4: Take new frames in the Clip, and add the 2nd frame as usual.
Done
