Preview Image Superior to Rendered Image

Would upgrade to PRO, but my rendered image loses sharpness and distorts textures to a degree. I applaud the renderings level of smoothness especially with clouds, but the punch of the scene is lost into an overall mushy quality that I don’t like. Especially with higher resolutions. Perhaps it’s because I’m limited to a PNG file instead of TIFF or EXR. Not sure. Using NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti.

Hi @Delineator ,

Apologies for your trouble but it would be much better if you could send us a screenshot of the issue so that I can assess it with more detailed data but in the case that you want to use our subscription program. These are the assets and features that you can fully use if you subscribe to Teams and Pro:

  1. AI Enhancer tool = It enhances various elements within your renders, such as lighting, materials, characters, vehicles, and vegetation.
  2. Advanced Lighting Effects = It achieves stunning effects like colored gradient glass by enabling the ‘Affected by Light’ option. Adjusting the opacity value and using black-and-white maps to control the opacity pattern allows for dynamic light interaction.
3‍. Sunlight Caustics = This feature simulates realistic sunlight refraction and reflection, enhancing your HDRI scenes with adjustable intensity and softness. Enable the caustics option for ‘Custom’, ‘Transparent’, and ‘Water’ material templates to display caustics effectively.
  3. Enhanced HDRI Sky Colors = The new ‘Sky Color’ option for HDRI allows you to adjust the hue and saturation, providing control over the sky’s color and intensity. This feature helps you set the perfect mood in your scenes, whether aiming for a vibrant day or a subtle, atmospheric setting.
  4. Asset Libraries = We have close to 14,000 assets that you can use in the Pro and Teams versions and adding more assets is counting. The goal is to provide our dear users with a more user-friendly experience.

I hope I provided you with all the needed information for you to be able to decide to use our subscription-based program. If you could also provide a screenshot of your issue that would also be helpful for my assessment of your case.

Thank you.

Thanks Maslu for your response! I am going to subscribe for a month, and hopefully continually. I think that will solve the problem with TIFF and EXR render file options found only in PRO, not to mention the other new tools you so kindly listed. I will post how that goes. The difference right now is not major, but enough to bother a meticulous artist like myself.

Hello, @Delineator Great to have you. Have fun with your subscription and explore more. Thank you!!!
