My workflow is max>D5, and sometimes i m hit with the regenerate prompt, mostly due to small adjustments made in max. however, very often when i hit the regenerate button, my plants which have been placed with brush scatter, disappear. And there is nothing i can do to get them back. I have to redo them over and over again. I cannot even save the area
This is my first large project being done in D5, i like it so far, but there is no way to have a real workflow like this.
Can you provide us with the following information, such as:
Where are these files located? Are they purely in the local path or in Cloud Storage? We generally recommend having the place local.
Are you able to experience this issue consistently? Perhaps, every time changes are made and scatter is asked to be regenerated, this is always the case?
Does this only occur to this file?
We would really prefer if you can send us a video recording of the issue.
If possible, we would like to collect your 3d Model File + D5 File for us to test on our end. Of course, this also includes the information that are asked above. You may send it to support@d5techs.com and have it tlted Clov-Forum Plants disappear when using regenerate
Did you apply a ‘cull’ effect to the scatter? I’m trying to establish whether others are experiencing the same issue as me - all of my scatters are fine except the ones i cull as they disappear when i reopen the file. They are easy to locate in the search bar, just type “scatter” and they will all appear ready to reapply with a single click, but the cull will need to be done again.
