Painted wooden cladding - how to do

Hey everyone, my customer has plan for a building facade that is cover painted wood cladding. I can find materials that are wood claddings but all of them are semi transparent so the wooden surface is visible.

How can i create a wooden cladding surface that is cover painted and in perfect world i could even change the cladding tone?

Hi @janne

Do you have a sample photo of the material that you’re trying to achieve? I think you can utilize inserting a wood texture in the Base Color Map of any wood material.
