Over exposed tress and plants

I constantly get overexposed planting.
Is it possible to adjust the foliage to suit.
What is the best course of action for consistent results.

I have found what my problem was. I was using setting from a previous project but the custom HDRI image was the incorrect one, in fact it was a .jpeg.
