Out of memory when opening file

Hi, i am having some trouble while i am trying to open my file, when i try to open it it gives me an error “out of memory” . The file is heavy but i havent had any problem until some minutes ago. I have tried to run as administrator but it didnt help. I have also tried increasing virtual memory still it doesnt help. Can i send the file to somone from support so they can have a look at it. There is a layer in my file that is heavy, maybe deleting it might solve the issue but the problem is that i cannot open the file. The error happens when the loading is at 98 percent. Please someone help. Kind regards

RAM: 16Gb
GPU: Nvidia RTX 3060Ti

Is there anyway to delete a layer in the saved file directory, before opening the file?

Hi kreativstudio,

Sorry to hear that you ran into this problem. Yes, from your description, we think the issue cause is that the RAM is not enough. First, you can close other program that is not needed, to release some RAM.

Second, remember to back up your project file. Then you can send it to my email ziyin.zhu@d5techs.com, I will try to delete some plants/glass, or the layer you mentioned, then send it back to you.

By the way, you have a good GPU: RTX 3060Ti, and 16GB RAM may be not enough to match its performance. I would suggest you upgrade to at least 32GB, the performance will be boosted.

Thank you for your feedback, I am trying to upload my scene but is almost 5GB in size. Is there any other way that I can send it to you faster?

Yeah, first please make a copy of your project folder as backup, then you can delete the folder called Backup to reduce the file size:

If it is still large, then you can delete another folder called resource

Hi, i have just uploaded the file

In the folder that you provided you may find two files, one is the d5 scene, and the other one is D5log (a file that I saw it being requested in other threads similar to mine)

If you open the file immediately delete two imported objects
1_25062022_Fasada
2_25062022_ivy

Thank you for helping me. I have been able to reopen my file. The problem was a IVY model that i imported from sketchup.
