Hi,
how can I set up only one character walking?
I have set the density to lowest, but there are still multiple characters walking.
Hi there; I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused. I tried to replicate the environment and parameters in which the issue was prevalent, but I only had one character walking down the path despite setting the density to 0.27. Would it be possible to send a screenshot of the characters walking? Or is it possible for you to send the file so I may be able to send it? You can send it to support@d5techs.com and have it titled “Clov-Forum” or use WeTransfer. Thank you so much.
Hi!
Thank you for your reply.
Unfortunatelly I can not send the file as it is from the office I work from, but I have created multiple shots now, where I simply turn off the layer of people where multiple apears, so the problem is solved.
I do wonder if there is an option to maybe an option to regulate when do a person starts walking? Because when I change the path lenght, people start walking at different points.
Thanks for the update. Currently, there is no option or setting where we can control the 3d Character’s walking time (Start to finish). Thank you.
Ok, I understand.
I’m wondering if there’s a way to control exactly where a character walks. I have one character who starts walking almost perfectly, but when I try to adjust the timing by making the path slightly shorter or longer, the character ends up walking in a completely different direction instead of just starting a bit earlier or later.
Hi there, can you tell me which character assets you used? There are only 2 options for the direction: Direction A and Direction B. When you change the Width parameters, it will be modified to how many lanes.
I use various characters, but my challenge is setting a specific starting point for each character’s walk. For example, a character might start walking at one spot, but if I adjust the length (not the width), the starting point changes unpredictably. In a scene, I’d like to control where the character begins walking, but I find myself randomly adjusting the length, hoping to capture the right starting position.
I was wondering if there might be a workaround for this.
For instance, if I want the character to start walking at point A, I could change the length to make them start at point B instead. However, there’s no clear rule for how much to adjust the length to ensure the character begins at point B?
Hi there.

Have you tried editing the path using this button? Then, proceed to drag the path node (circle) in the direction you want.

Upon changing the length of my path, the character that I inserted seems to start at the edge of the path; hence, I can begin my character walk at Point A (Yellow arrow)
Let me know if this helps, thank you.
