Object import no longer works!

With the latest updated version, importing objects using the “import” command and then “place” no longer works: nothing is imported. How do I fix this? I’ve tried on several PCs.

Sorry to hear you’re experiencing this issue with the latest version.

When you try to import using Import → Place, what exactly happens?

  • Does nothing appear in the scene at all?
  • Do you see the object preview, but it won’t place?
  • Is there any error message shown?
  • Does it freeze or crash after clicking “Place”?
