Object axes are positioned incorrectly

Hi D5-Team,

I am using the fbx-file between my 3D Software and D5-Render. It works fine but…
After the import, the axes are set in a different position. It’s a big problem for me because I use the correct position as a pivot point.
See example. I have to be able to turn the lower part of the chair exactly around the middle. But the axis is placed in a different location in the D5.

Could you please fix it (by leaving the axis as it is in fbx) or allow to move the axis of an object (or group). It would help a lot.

thank yo in advance

hi, i have checked ur image in PS with guide line. center pivot from ur 3d is right, but still u want that pivot in center of that circle. so do one thing manually set pivot to that circle and export. let me know that helped or not.

Hello. You can put your model into the origin of your modelling software and then use the Sync Pivot feature.
What is “Sync Pivot” and how to use it for rotating/opening and closing doors animation in D5? | User Manual (d5render.com)

Hi LunaLang,

great, this is the solution. Thank you.

Visualplus, the pivot was set to the center of the circle in my 3d program. D5 is changing it to a new pivot.
