I am using a gaming laptop with 16gb RAM, I downloaded the D5 a month ago, and it’s working perfectly BUT with the new updated version, the D5 requires more RAM and specs, I am devastated now and wish I didn’t update it.
Any recommendations of what to do? except on upgrading my laptop

Hi! I have the same issue, but I am new in D5… I’ve downloaded this last year and seemed working before, but I do not know how to use it back then, so I haven’t really use it. Now, that I was going to learn D5, it prompted me to upgrade, and I did, and now I tried opening it and it won’t work anymore… Just wanna know maybe I missed a step, or is the upgraded app really not compatible with my system anymore… attached here are my laptop’s system information… thank you!
Hi @16kpartajo, the screenshot you provided shows an Intel UHD graphics card, which is not supported for running D5. Please refer to the System Requirements for D5 Render | User Manual for more information.
Can you let me know if you have a different GPU installed that may not be appearing in the task manager? Additionally, could you open D5 and share the quick benchmark results displayed on the screen? Thank you!
Hello @Anthony_D5 thank you for your response! I already checked the link you sent, thank you! So, far, i double checked my laptop, it has only one GPU… and the last one, that was my problem, I couldn’t open the app itself, so I can’t check the benchmark. I sent a screenshot how it looks like when I tried to open it, after a few seconds, it will just disappear… So, I think I should just upgrade my GPU? to be able to open the app?

D5 Render is reliant on the Dedicated GPU (RTX, AMD, Intel). If your device only has an integrated GPU, you might need to add another one.
