My Material and Model Library Categories Are Not Working - D5 2.7

I cannot see the categories in my Material and Model library. Yes, I can see the models and materials, but they all had a category. (Curtains, Flowers, etc.) I tried it on an empty D5 file and I still get this problem. I never encountered this problem in previous versions.

Hello, sorry for your problem. Have you migrated your workspace location? Does the content in your online library currently display properly?

There is no problem in the online library, everything is visible. Check out the images I posted, I did not change any file location. I just updated D5 and started seeing this problem. Everything was normal in the previous version.

I see that some people in the D5 Forum are having the same problem.

Thank you for your feedback. The issue may be something like this, we added custom categories for local libraries in version 2.7, which wasn’t available in previous versions, so it may be causing confusion with the categories and asset names in the local libraries. If your assets can still be added to the scene, just the categories and names don’t show up, then this is probably not a bug .

I can add assets to the scene, I can see all my assets but not my categories. The category is very important for my work speed. For example, I cannot even create a new category in the local library. As you said, the new local library updates you made in 2.7 seem to have affected this.

I’ll let the team know about this and we’ll try to optimise this.

I’m still having the same problem, my categories are not showing up.

Hi @Furkan,

Really sorry for this issue. Do you have material and model folders in your workspace folder? Have you changed the location of your workspace recently? Can you show me a comparison picture of the current problem?

Any update will be appreciated.

I solved the problem by trying my own way.
