Is this normal?
This is from Task Manager in Windows 10.
Anyone else seeing this?
Turned off “run as administrator” for launcher and it seems to have stopped doing that.
Correction.
Closed launcher and they all popped up again in task manager. D5 is running. No crashes yet. Knock on wood.
Hi @gusrobatto
Apologies for the delayed response. Just to confirm, does the issue still persist on your end? Are you still seeing multiple instances of the D5 Launcher appearing again in Task Manager after closing it?
Ela,
Haven’t paid much attention to that. Working on a new project and enjoying not getting any crashes.
But now that you mention it. No multiple instances after closing. Only while running. Is that normal? I know Firefox web browser will do that.
Hi @gusrobatto
Multiple D5Launcher processes are normal. D5 uses a multi-process system where different tasks (UI, updates, background services) run separately for better stability and performance.
In your case, since resource usage is low, there’s no issue. Only be concerned if usage becomes high or processes keep increasing.
