Hi there,
We use Microsoft Teams for internal and external client meetings and recently noticed that we cannot share our screen with D5 Render. The general interface shows but for the actual View port is blank. See image:
Hello, sorry for this. May I ask if this was shared through “Window” or the “Screen” itself? Thank you for letting us know about this issue we will also be conducting a test on our end.
Hello, we were able to test this issue on our end, but the problem was quite different. The general interface won’t show (black screen) on our side while the render preview shows. There seems to be no issue if we share the entire “screen” instead of just the “window”, but if this is not viable on your side (privacy issues). I found similar issues from their forum; I’ll also include the link, so you may want to check it out. Thank you~
Disable the New Meeting Experience by launching Teams, clicking on your profile picture, selecting Settings, and then clicking on the General section. Scroll to ‘Turn on new meeting experience’ and turn off this option. Then, relaunch Microsoft Teams.
Enable Screen Sharing on the Entire Screen by checking the Org-wide policy for Screen sharing mode. The Entire Screen option needs to be enabled.
Please also kindly sign out all Teams accounts on all other devices (mobile/Teams web) first, and then restart the new Teams client to check if the problem is resolved, thank you
Hi there, just an update: a user from Facebook also experienced this kind of issue, and they were able to fix it through reinstalling Microsoft Teams. Thank you.
