Mapping problem

Hello everyone!
What could be the problem?
Thx!

Hi @mf-arhitect

  • Is this material from our Online Library Asset? Which one?
  • Try checking the model’s X,Y, values or location, make it closer to 0,0
  • Was this modelled in SKP or Rhino? If it’s in Rhino try changing the UV Material Map

Thanks for the answer!
it’s a dxf exported from Progecad…
It’s on x,y right in 0,0…
The material is from the d5 library.
I want to buy the full license, but I’m stuck here…

Hi @mf-arhitect

Can you send us the DXF file instead? I’m not very familiar with progeCAD and if there is an option to edit a UV but I think sending us a DXF File for this model will suffice in our troubleshooting. Thank you.

Attached the dxf file.
Thx!

Hi @mf-arhitect

Thank you for sending the file, does this occur to your other DXF Files as well?

yes…I tried to do several tests and I have the same problem in all of them…

Hi @mf-arhitect

Alright, thanks for the confirmation. I have forwarded this issue further to our team and will improve the DXF import in the subsequent release or perhaps add a best practice guide for DXF Import.

Hi @mf-arhitect

Our team has conducted a thorough test on the file you sent. The problem appears to be related to the model’s original UV mapping and position in ProgeCAD.

We found that when we tried to enable “Sync Coordinates” in D5, the model was placed far from the origin. This is because the feature copies the exact position of how the model was created in your 3D modelling software.

Please check if your model is located near the origin in ProgeCAD. We recommend moving it closer, then saving it asa DXF file again.
