Low Quality realtime VR in new D5 versions

Hi there!

We have an Oculus Quest 2 set at the studio and we were using the real time VR visualization since the beta came up. Recently, we have tried it again in (we haven´t used it in since about january this year) in the same computer and graphic card we used to, and suddenly the visualization quality has dropped (lighting badly adjusted, like everything turns too bright or dark, ceilings turning black, too much color contrast, no water effects…) even the frame rate has dropped dramatically from previous experiences in models with the same complexity we used to open.

Any idea about why this is happening and how to solve it? Maybe it has to do with D5 version uprades?

Thanks!

Hi agisbertlopez,

It could be that there are some settings that need updating in the project file if it’s old enough, like the auto-exposure toggle and other exposure settings. It may be possible that the older project file’s settings didn’t crossover properly to the newer version. Posting pictures may help determining further what is causing the quality loss. I would test if the same scene renders better in a completely new file generated by the most up-to-date D5.

Hi there, in previous versions of D5 Render, you also used Oculus Quest 2 for VR function?
