I have a model with 10x10 sq Km, I want to use low poly trees or LODs to fill the trees in the far off. How to I turn my imported low poly trees into useable scatter particles? Do help me with that.
You must first have the file in SketchUp, i.e. in skp. then you import it as an object in D5
It becomes an object, which you can insert wherever you want
Then if you want to change the texture just press the button on your keyboard (I) and select
I hope I have helped you

Hi, D5 assets library includes low poly trees, our D5 scatter tool can only be used in the D5 official material library, and does not support the use of our own models. You can use low poly trees from D5 assets library.
Sorry, but if you download a file in Warehouse 3d, Find trees in 3D of any type, or in other sites you can easily load them into the D5 program, without having to take it from the D5 Pro library. It is then saved in your library in the object folder D5, the program gives you the possibility to do this.
I saw that you are a Free, not a Pro and therefore you cannot have all the objects of D5
If you want those of D5 you have to buy the program
