Hello team!

I’m testing d5 2.2 preview. I just needed some models from my local library, so I opened up the preferences menu on 2.2 preview and migrated the library from the preview version to the folder of my library of the 2.1 version.

Now I just can’t the library on 2.1! Could you guys please help me finding a way to reinsert my local models on de 2.1 librarry?

Hello, first, please go to the local library folder and make a copy as backup first.

Then, you can try setting that folder as target folder again in D5 2.1, to see whether it can cover the settings of 2.2 beta.

To be honest, we do not support multiple D5 Renders share local library on a computer. If the setting cannot be recovered, I would suggest you make a new path for D5 2.1, then copy and paste those objects manually, please check this video:

thanks for the anwer @Oliver.J . I guess I lost my library. Will try to reorganize it for 2.2.

Hello, please watch the video I posted, you can still keep and use the model/material saved locally, but it needs manual operation to copy and paste them to a new local library.
If you do not want to do that, then let’s reorganize it for 2.2
Besides, I suggest you uninstall 2.2 beta then reinstall the official version of 2.2 after it is released, this way can fix those issues.
