Lets say I create a model in SketchUp and add a couple of d5 lights and save it as model 01.
I import it in D5 and in the object tree I see 2 items: model 01 and model 01 (group of lights).
Say I create a new version of model 01 in SketchUp and save it as model 02.
When I connect model 02 to D5 I have the option to replace model 01 and relink the d5 file.
But now in D5’s object tree I see 3 items: model 02, model 01 (group of lights) and model 02 (group of lights).
I am too facing the same issue and too annoying. This needs to be fixed. For the time being i am placing all my light in D5 itself to stop facing this issue. This consume much time, but its the only way around. I don’t see the use of D5 converter plugin as i am not placing any lights in the modeling software.
Yes this does need to be fixed!!!
Cause once you edit all the lights on the first model import, you’ll have to edit them again on each update!
This makes the lights inside sketchup worthless!!!
