I am lighting designer and I copy dozens and dozens of lights over my models, but they reset to an incorrect IES file every single time. This forces me to individually select, group and edit nearly every light in the project if it’s copied or grouped togetrher. How do we avoid this?
Hello, sorry for the inconvenience. Is the lamp copied from the modeling software or from the Asset Library of D5 render?
If it’s convenient, can you give me a picture as a reference? Or tell me more about your steps. This can help us better troubleshoot problems.
There is nothing to send a picture of because it is not rendering fixtures to a specific manufacturer .IES data file is attached. I see those fixture emitting correct illumination in the live working version, but when I render a scene to .JPG, those fixtures do not emit any light.

I can’t see the attached file from my side, does it outweigh 4mb? can you upload it again or send it diretly to us: support@d5techs.com.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
