Layering LIGHT_ICONS

is there any trick tips you guys are aware of with regards to the LIGHT ICONS? problem is there is no way to include these in the visibility when TURNED ON even if its included in a layer… YES i can switch off my layer with the lights in it… then when u add new lights u need the icon to show as your guides to position new lighting. thus making it difficult to navigate especially when its crowded, …

thanks much appreciated if anyone has a tip…

Hi @xrowdac2

Try selecting this option, it will disable the light icons.

hi…the problem is… i still need to see the icon …when i place a new set of lightings…while working on the new groups…

I would suggest to use a temporary layer to place your new lights and then when your satisfied with the result and position you can move them to your lightning layer or keep them separate… Depending on your needs of course.
Hope this help.

Hi @xrowdac2

Alright I understand, I’ll be treating this as a suggestion and will be forwarding to our team further. Thank you.

problem is i still need the icons to see where im placing my lights… yes. all is in layer. already but when u switch it off… I still need to see the icon as a guide. so those lights that has been already settled and done even tho they are layered and off… once u make the LIGHT-ICON VISIBLE regardless if its is layered and switch off… all will be visible (icons) …this is the current SNAFU from D5… “icons are not affected by layer or being layered” they will all simultaneously still appear when u turn on the visibility of the light icons.

HOPE THEY FIX it.
