Hi there, sorry for the inconvenience. May I ask if this is also reoccurring in other project files which has the same setup (front of and behind the glass surface have a border that remains sharp) ?
I tried to recreate the set up on my end and there seems to be no sharp borders.
Hi clovisbolasco14,
thanks for your answer. Yes, I’ve had the same problem with other projects. But I was able to find the cause. The problem appears when the value of refraction is set to more than 1. Could you please test this for yourself? Oh, btw… my glas has a real thickness (about 1cm). However, if you create the glass from only one surface and adjust refraction and thickness in the material settings, the problem will become visible again.
best regards
Hi there thank you for sharing your insights regarding this issue, basing on your description I tried to recreate the environment that you were working with. But I am unable to encounter such issues on my end, I have followed the same settings as you have mentioned. Perhaps it would be best to test your file on our end? Thank you so much
