I do it when I don’t intend to update the scene.

Currently, there isn’t a shortcut key for “Update Scene” in D5. You need to manually click the Update Scene button beside the scene in the Scene List to update it.
Just to check, does this happen often? Is it happening in all files or only in this specific file/scene? If possible, could you also share a short screen recording so we can better see what’s happening?
