Installing D5 on a new laptop and when i tried to log in, this show up "Please log in your edu account on the bound device"

Hello. The app doesn’t allow me to log in on my D5 edu license. I reinstalled the app on my new laptop, because I changed the other one, with which I started using D5. After doing this I tried to enter my account again on my new laptop an this message pops up, how can I fix this?

Actually the other laptop was reset completely so doesn’t have any record about D5 render, i thought that would help, but it still won’t let me log ing in the new one.

Hello, @alejandro.velez

I’m sorry for any inconvenience. Unfortunately, the Educational license is tied to a single computer. This means that it can only be used on that specific device and cannot be transferred or unbound during the valid period. If you need to change your device, you may not be able to access your Education account, and we are unable to unbind it for you. Therefore, if you need to change your device, we recommend that you reapply after your current license has expired.

Also, I need to know if you had performed any tasks before your laptop crashed and shut down, like updating the GPU hard drive or operating system coz if that’s the case there might be additional reasons aside from the Educ license binding concern, we might be able to find you possible solutions to unbind your device.

Thank you again for your understanding and support!
