Installation error

Hi, I’ve been using D5 Render PRO for 2 months. I have now updated my computer and am trying to install the program from the official website, but the installer is not downloading. I managed to install D5 launcher using your link above, I logged into my D5 account, but even through this launcher I can’t install D5 Render. I don’t know what to do anymore, and I really hope for your help in this matter.

Hi @samay_guru

Sorry for the inconvenience. Please help confirm the following:

  1. Does the download fail, stop midway, or not start at all when downloading the full D5 Render installer package directly from the official download page (not only through the launcher)?
  2. Are you currently using a VPN, proxy, antivirus, or firewall that might be blocking the download?
  3. What is your Windows version and graphics card model?
  4. If the installer downloads, what happens when you run it? Does it fail to open, close immediately, or show an error message?

Hi, @ela

Thanks for the reply, here are the clarifications that you asked for:

  1. When downloading from the official page, the installation starts, loads at a very slow download speed for a few seconds, then the speed drops to zero and the download pauses. All other Internet services work without problems.
  2. I do not use a VPN or proxy, there is a corporate antivirus Dr.Web 13.0
  3. Windows 10 version 22H2. NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 graphics card
  4. When opening the D5 Launcher, I can log into my D5 account and use all its tools. However, when trying to install D5 Render, the download starts and hangs indefinitely without a hint of progress. Also, when I log into the D5 Launcher, the program prompts me to update it, when I agree, the installation stops at 20% and the labels: “download installer…”

Thanks for the help, I hope everything will work out)

Hi @samay_guru

Thanks for the detailed explanation. Here are the recommended steps to try next:

  1. Temporarily disable or whitelist Dr.Web antivirus
  • Corporate antivirus software is known to block or throttle installer download threads.
  • If disabling is not possible, please whitelist the D5 Launcher and installer processes.
  1. Check firewall or network restrictions
  • Even without a VPN or proxy, corporate or ISP-level filtering may block certain download nodes.
  • If you are on a managed network, please ask your IT administrator to check for restrictions.

Also, have you checked out our official guide for other options to try? Thanks!
