I ididn't get the update

Hello , I’m still on 2.6 and i didnt get the update yet .
i really dont want to lose my asset library downloaded models or lose my local library content by deleting the software and install it again.

any help please

Hi ArchViz, I had the update normally, there were some small problems, only with vision, with the update of the graphics card everything was resolved, for the rest everything went smoothly, my libraries remained. But in the forum some users have had this problem, perhaps they use a connection system with multiple computers, or with a server. This hasn’t happened to me, perhaps I only use one laptop, so I have a connection architecture created by the D5 program from the beginning of the other versions. But to be safe I always make copies of my works, both the graphic ones and the D5 ones, in an external memory that I use only for this.
So I don’t know how you are at your job and I know you are very good, but I think with all the previous updates you have received, you know how to solve the problem.
So courage. :grinning: :grinning: :grinning:

Hello! Normally, the update will not cause you to lose the contents of your local library. If you are concerned about this, try backing up your local library or installing 2.7 in a different path than 2.6.

I know , but the thing that i didn’t get the update notification when start the software
I deleted it and downloaded the new version from the website and now i lost my local library and favorites

Hello. Is the path to the D5 Workspace the same as it was after you reinstalled it? You can check it in ‘Preference-general’. Did you choose to retain personal data during installation?
Next time if there is no update notification, try reset or switch networks. And, you can back up your local libraries or do an override installation.

I set it to the same path but i had to download the downloaded models and materials again dik whats the problem
