I have a question regarding automatic billing.

Thank you for your support. As a single user, I have been using D5 on an annual plan since last year and have been very satisfied with it.

Previously, in order to use the VR Tour feature, I upgraded to the Team version for one month by paying only the difference from my annual plan. However, since the VR Tour feature did not fully meet my expectations, I didn’t feel the need to continue using the Team version. Therefore, I intended to go back to using a single-user annual plan.

However, I recently noticed that the Team version with 2 seats was automatically renewed and charged a few days ago.
Of course, I acknowledge that I should have switched back to the previous plan before the auto-renewal took place. That was my oversight.

However, since I have no further need for the Team version and have not used it beyond the previous trial, I would like to ask if it is possible to revise or adjust the recent payment.

As you can see from my usage records, there has been no actual usage of the Team version by me or by any team member — it has been continuously used by a single user only.

So, I would like to know:

  • Can the recent Team version payment be modified or refunded?
  • Alternatively, since I am planning to renew my annual plan as a Pro user, would it be possible to convert the Team plan payment into credit and allow me to pay only the difference when switching back to the Pro annual plan?

I apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.

Hi @architects2

You’re concerns and queries are very much valid, but unfortunately, we can not convert nor refund any amount upon deduction. We recommend (also stated in our guidelines) that users may need to unsubscribe before the deduction date to avoid unwanted deduction.

The best way to change for your situation is to “Unsubscribe” to your Teams Subscription as early as now. This will prevent automatic renewal. Afterward, you can easily resubscribe on an Annual Basis.

Note: Your account will remain in the TEAMS Version until the expiry date. We hope this helps!

  • To unsubscribe from your D5 Render Teams subscription, please log in to your My Space page on our official website and click the Unsubscribe button.

Thank you for your understanding.
