I have a computer with a GTX 1070 graphic card, enough space on the hard drive. When I try to install the latest version of D5, it only installs an direct access that I soon find out is linked to nothing, because the installation didn’t go through, even when the installation says it went Ok… Please help me to find the answer to this problem.

I have the same 12 giga 1070 gtx card and 12 giga processor on a laptop and I have no problems. If the features are the same you just need to upgrade the video card, I think the D5 program should be fine. Did the previous version work or is it your first time installing D5? In this case, try an older version, but always update the graphics card, so if it opens it will ask you for the D5 2.1 update then in connection with your account it will start.

Hello, I think the issue cause is that you install the file to a folder that requires Administrator permissions, such as C:\Program Files\xxx
To solve the problem, you can run the D5 Render installer as admin ( right lick->run as administrator).
Or you should just choose another place to install, like D:\

In fact, the system you mentioned is similar to my laptop, at the beginning when I started with D5 1.4 non PRO I had installed it in C. Then with the many updates the space decreased. When I switched to PRO I installed it in F as administrator, but I notice that in C there is always the reference of the first installation the D5 1.4.
I don’t know if it was a coincidence or luck, but I never had problems with the program, on the contrary it is wonderful.
