How to open a BackUp File

Hey,
I use D5 Render pro with the SketchUp Extension.
Today I reopend my D5 project with the “play” button in th SketchUp plugin. But in the D5 project some of my latest changes were gone.
I had the new Auto Safe feature enabled, but I don’t know how to open the “.bak” BackUp file.
Hopefully my changes wich got lost are still saved in the last AutoSave File.

I hope someone can tell me how to open it.
Thanks

Hello, please click File->view history version, or you could right-click the scene file then find the option in Welcome page->Recent list.

Glad to hear it. This is a new feature we added in 2.1.

My backup file saved 3 versions, but none of them is the one I need. Is there any way to find older versions?

Hello @zambonato.bruna,

I apologize for the inconvenience. D5 can open only three (3) recent backup files for the time being. You can set the interval of it. In “Menu” → “File” → “View History Version”, you can open the most recent 3 auto-saved projects. As to your case, that is very unfortunate but we can no longer retrieve it. You might need to prepare and set it up right now for future use. Where is the Auto Save feature? How do the backup files work? | User Manual

Thank you.
