Trying to figure out best way to make trees transparent. My original thought was to make 1 view with all the layers I need turned on (besides the trees I need to be transparent) in the original image then copy that same image and only put the trees I need to be transparent and finally take into Photoshop and overlay the image and adjust opacity in there. But the problem I ran into is I need the shadows of the trees I need to be transparent, and if i turn off that layer in the original image the shadows are gone. Has anyone figured out the best way to make trees transparent? Or a way to make hidden objects still project shadows?
You can try to change the entire material of the tree to Cloth, then reduce its opacity.
