How to create realistic stone (or any rough material) edges and corners

Hello everybody,

I have been working with D5 the past 3 months and it is generally going pretty well. However I noticed that when using stone or other rough materials, the corners of the walls and generally all corners are appearing to be sharp/flat and not realistic at all. Does anyone know if this is fixable?

Bonjour, peut-être pourriez-vous utiliser l’option round corner qui a justement pour effet d’arrondir les angles…

D5 is not using real displacement, so that’s why the edges are always sharp. When working with stones and really bumpy edges, the best is still to modelise it… Or trick it with another volume when possible…
