The issue I’m encountering is that the metallic map when generated and imported, shows black lines instead of adding a metallic property. I am trying to achieve the material to look like the image attached. Any inputs on how the metallic map (attached an image of the map) can be modified to achieve the material would be helpful.

The making of this material is simple.
You have to load your black and white texture (white = metallic areas) into the Metallic channel. Remember to leave the Metallic value at 1. You load in the Color channel your color map.
The specular value is disabled when you have Metal at 1, that is, it does not affect the material.
The Roughness value does affect the material.
